Drop Off

Pallet drop off to a kerbside location only - access permitting - mainland England other areas P.O.A. only Drop off delivery price is Mon-Fri during normal working hours. Customer will not receive prior notification of the delivery date or Drop off delivery price is on a tail lift vehicle and it is the customer's responsibility to move the unit from kerbside into their premises. Drop off delivery does not include positioning the unit inside a garage, house or any other premises.

1. Although the majority of deliveries are problem free, we are still experiencing occasional issues relating to access to properties. In addition to internal or external steps it is the responsibility of the customer to advise of any access issues, including gravel or sloping driveways, low bridges and narrow tracks, roads or driveways. This information is important as, due to multiple deliveries on the same vehicle, the vehicles used to deliver to domestic and business addresses are the same. Deliveries are made on a rigid vehicle (18 tonne as per the image attached) unless an arrangement has been made beforehand and an additional cost agreed. As a rough comparison these vehicles are approximately the same size as a fire engine or refuse truck (1lm in length, 2.5m wide x 4m high).

1. In order to comply with test procedures , any products which are ECB.S certified and weighing less than I tonne should be base fixed to a solid concrete floor. Ifrequested to secure an ECB.S unit to a wooden floor then this will only be done at the customers own risk. The customer must speak with their own insurance company to clarify if a wooden fix is acceptable, or if this will affect the insurance rating they are given.

1. Anything other than the manufacturers fixing bolts are not recommended.

1. Finally we would also like to draw your attention to the fact that if the delivery crew have reservations regarding fixing a unit, but the end user insists that the installation is carried out, then the customer will be asked to sign a disclaimer at time of delivery.
