Body: The outer end inner bodies are constructed from high grade steel electrically welded together to form one unit. The space between the outer and inner bodies is packed with a solid reinforced fire resisting and anti-penetration material. The total protective metal thickness is not less than 10 mm. Overall body thickness 76 mm.

Door: The door construction is based on a slab of special drill and blowtorch resistant alloy over the whole surface of the door. Total protective metal thickness over vital areas not less than 25 mm.

Boltwork: Moving round steel bolts locking behind a solid rebate frame secure the door on the front, top and bottom edges. The rear edge of the door is secured with fixed round bolts locking behind a similar rebate. The total number of bolts varies between eight and fourteen according to the safe size.

Locking: Standard locking — one nine lever security keylock with double-bitted key supplied in duplicate. Additional keylock or keyless combination lock in place of or in addition to keylock supplied as optional extra.

Secondary Locking: An additional locking device comes into operation every time the safe is locked to give protection against attack by explosives.

In addition the lock is mounted on a sensitive plate, which responds to any form of attack in the lock area operating one or more re-locking devices fixed to the door at random positions.

An extra heat sensitive re-locking device operates if heat is applied to the safe door by oxygen cutting apparatus.

Anchoring: Two high tensile steel bolts can be incorporated in the base of the body so that the safe can be fixed to concrete or wood floors to prevent removal from the premises by thieves, at extra cost.

By virtue of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968, all measurements and weights must necessarily be considered to be approximate.

This version of the Cashier is designed for the deposit and safe housing of cash brought in after normal office hours. A heavy duty deposit drawer forms an integral part of the body of the safe. Wallets or other semi-rigid packages of cash placed in this drawer unit are dropped into the safe as the drawer is closed. Once deposited, they can only be retrieved by opening the main door of the safe which is under the control of the keyholder.

In addition to the multiple relocking devices on the safe door, a special security mechanism is fitted to seal the aperture into the safe body in the event of an attack on the deposit drawer.
