SPECIFICATION<\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

BODY
<\/b>The outer and inner bodies of this safe are constructed of best open hearth steel plates with a total thickness of 9\/16” (14.3 mm). The space between the outer and inner bodies is filled with solid fire-resisting composition.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

DOOR
<\/b>The total thickness of the door is 5 1\/16″(128.<\/sup>6 mm). The minimum thickness over the lock mechanism is 1 3\/8″ (34.<\/sup>9 mm) including 3\/16″ (4.<\/sup>8 mm) thick drill-resisting lock protection plate. The door is designed to resist explo­sives and forcing tools, and incorporates a fire-resisting chamber.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

FASTENINGS
<\/b>The door is securely held in its seating by five sliding round steel bolts, three at the front 1 3\/8″ (34.<\/sup>9 mm.) in diameter and one each at top and bottom, 1″ (25.<\/sup>4 mm) diameter. The bands and centres forming the hinges are entirely con­cealed and when the door is closed it is not possible to discover whether the door is hung left-handed or right-handed.<\/p>\n

DOOR CHAMBER
<\/b>The door chamber of this safe is an integral part of the door.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

LOCKING
<\/b>The sliding bolts are normally controlled by a best quality unpickable seven-lever key-lock with rustless keys supplied in duplicate.<\/p>\n
